How to Join
Spacecraft and Fleets
IMPORTANT: Ships will each have a "Lvl x" after the name in a troop count. The "x" will be replaced by the level of ship. I will tell you it's level: it is judged from comparison to other nation's ships and price, and ability. You can suggest a level to me but I will have the final say.
To get a price contact me, but generally know that:
-I will judge the ship mainly by length, role, weapons and size of compliment.
-A good fleet includes the following (ALSO, make sure you list all ships in a fleet, even if RP. Just label them as RP.):
To get a price contact me, but generally know that:
-I will judge the ship mainly by length, role, weapons and size of compliment.
-A good fleet includes the following (ALSO, make sure you list all ships in a fleet, even if RP. Just label them as RP.):
- Fighter and Shuttle craft - Basically the "infantry" of space, these small craft, usually an aerospace vehicle the size of a modern fighter jet (sizes may vary) are essential in any fleet.
- Recon Ships - Again, size may vary to your liking. It could be from shuttle-size to gunstar size (300 meters) or anything in between, the price will be judged by how big it is, it's defences and the recon and EWAR systems abilities.
- Dropship Carriers - These ships WILL BE FREE. These carry your dropships to a planet.
- Dropships - These ships WILL BE FREE. They transport troops to the ground, however the number of these will be limited to the number of troops you have.
- Various Warships - As said before, these will be judged on criteria, make sure you detail their descriptions.
- Anything else you think you might need.

Territories
Your capitol nation has a base income of $2,000,000 (2 million)
Any other territories have a base income of $1,000,000 (1 million)
You can upgrade your territories.

Battlestations: Near the corners of the maps (and sometimes in the middle) there are 5 space stations. These are battlestations.
Each on you take over, gives you a single day more to respond to a PVP attack in that system. Also, list them in a battle, because they are also solar system-wide defence platform capable of launching long range torpedoes.
Each battlestation also earns you 500k a day (from gas siphoning and asteroid grinding).
You can only take them over once you own 3 planets in the solar system they are in, and you have to wait 3 days before taking the next one after taking one. Fleet IS required for taking them.
Patrolled Sectors and FTL drives: Your FTL drives can whisk you away from star systems to other star systems. On each star system, there are 4 blue corridor looking icons on all 4 sides. These are what we will call "jump stations". When you want to jump to another star system, you will always go through the jump station when you arrive. If all four jump stations are surrounded by enemy patrolled sectors, you cannot get to the planet without a space battle with the enemy (unless they don't respond, see timeouts in the PVP section.) This does NOT include the space battle and ground battle that will happen upon reaching the enemy planet. Essentially, you will have to fight two space battles with the enemy.
How to patrol a sector: Make a new thread in the "Conquest" board, labeled "Patrol Sector: [Coordinatesofsector]". You do not need to send your fleet there but you must have a fleet in the first place to do this. You can take over a sector only once every 3 days. Then, record it in your finances thread (find out about finance thread in "Crucial Things to Know")[/spoiler]
Research
Instead of a Tier system like in Grand Conquest, we will be using a research system for things such as Armour, Speed, Weapons, and Shielding. To upgrade a single category, pay 400,000. You MUST post all charts with tech levels in the beginning of a battle thread.

Crucial Things to Know
Coordinates: How to tell the coordinates of a particular area.
Let's say you want to specify the planet "Virgon" in the star system of Helios Beta. How would you do it?
i.imgur.com/eTg3G.jpg
This is how.
[Helios Beta; J3] Planet Virgon
Buying Units and your Finances Thread: A crucial thing to know. How do you get a military? Where do you store money? In the next section (income) the first paragraph explains how you get money.
You make a thread labeled "Finances" in the Finances subboard in your nations board. You will record this in it:
Owned Territories:
[NameofPlanet], [CoordinatesofPlanet] - [Income it gives (refer to Territories)]
Mining Fields:
[CoordinatesofAsteroidField] - 500,000
Owned Battlestations:
[CoordinatesofBattleStation]
Patrolled Sectors:
[CoordinatesofPatrolledSectors]

Daily Income: [Sum of all money you get]
Wallet: [All the money that you have. Daily Income adds the money into the wallet, and you spend money from your wallet.]
To buy units, all you do is subtract the money they cost from your wallet and add them to a troop count thread. You CANNOT go negative. You will first need to provide a picture of the unit you are buying in your armoury thread (it doesn't have to be made by you, it can just be a picture from the internet)

Battles and Income
Daily Income: Every day, you will receive money. This money is a total of all your income producers, such as planets, mining facilities, and etc. Using this money, you can either buy units, or continue upgrading your territories. You can also trade, giving money to another player for their units.
Player vs Unowned Territory: Taking over a planet takes a total of 1 ground battle and 1 space battle. First comes the space battle, always. Timeout is 3 days, if a moderator does not mod your battle within a span of 3 days you finish that battle free of losses. You still have to post the second (ground battle). Only after the second battle will you own the planet. (Timeout rule applies for second battle too) This counts for moons too (moons have same income as planets)
Player vs Player: More complicated. It's basically the same, except the entire thing is determined by 1 battle, a space battle and a ground battle. First the attacker posts tactics, then the defender posts tactics, then the moderator posts result. This cycle will happen until the moderator proclaims the winner (loser usually loses all units he sent to battle) and the next battle starts, and is worked out in the same fashion. If the defender does not respond for 5 days, you get the planet for free!
Mining: There are asteroid fields in each solar system. You can send a mining ship to the asteroid field to receive a total of 500,000 a day from the asteroid field. Mining ships cost 3.5 million. You MUST buy a mining ship to send it to an asteroid field, and it is not reusable once you send it there. Make sure you record the fact that you sent a mining ship to the asteroid field in your finances thread by doing this:
-3.5 million 1x Mining Ship
+Asteroid Field [coordinates of Asteroid Field] 500,000 a day
Then make sure you subtract the 1 million from your "wallet".
You can send up to 4 mining ships to an asteroid field, each one gives 500k more.
